Double win for PCI in the Fliesen & Platten "Product of the Year 2022" readers' choice
Winning products PCI Periplan Flow and PCI Carrament Grey convinced the reader and expert jury of the magazine for specialist tile companies Fliesen & Platten

The winners of the Fliesen & Platten readers' choice for the "Product of the Year 2022" have been determined: With PCI Periplan Flow in the category of covering products and substrates as well as PCI Carrament Grey in the category of waterproofing and mortar products PCI Augsburg GmbH is among the top three two times. The two innovative products convinced the subscribers of the magazine for specialist tile companies Fliesen & Platten and the jury with their special product properties.
The readers of Fliesen & Platten had voted in advance on the new products submitted by the industry in six different categories. As in previous years, only specialist tile companies and dealers among the subscribers of Fliesen & Platten were able to participate. With their vote, they determined the top three winners in the six categories of waterproofing and mortar, covering constructions and substrates, tiles and slabs, software, tools and accessories. In addition, a jury of industry experts also evaluated the products put up for the vote. The rankings are thus the result of the readers' choice and the expert jury.
In the category of covering constructions and substrates, PCI Periplan Flow, the self-leveling compound in CSA technology with exceptional flow properties newly launched on the market in 2022, took third place. With its smooth, low-porosity surface, PCI Periplan Flow creates the right foundation for all subsequent surface coverings. Thanks to the newly developed CSA technology, the self-leveling compound scores with a fast setting time and long working time - for even more flexibility as well as time and cost savings on the construction site.
PCI Carrament Grey also took third place in the waterproofing and mortar category. With its new formulation launched in 2022, the well-proven medium-bed mortar for natural stone and fully-vitrified tile coverings was convincing. PCI Carrament Grey combines the processing convenience of a fast-setting adhesive with that of a normal-setting adhesive. At the same time, the flexible laying mortar offers craftsmen even more processing convenience as well as time savings, while its new, fresh packaging appearance attracts additional attention in the trade and on the construction site.
