With PCI Barraseal Ready, PCI presents a new, ready-to-use waterproofing product which, in combination with the PCI Barraseal Ready Vlies fabric, is the ideal waterproofing solution for the installation of floor-to-ceiling window and door elements. Craftsmen benefit from the easy and fast application of the 1-component waterproofing material which is ready-to-use and does not require labeling.
In combination with the inserted fabric PCI Barraseal Ready Vlies, the new waterproofing product guarantees maximum crack bridging properties and thus a reliable and impermeable integration of details in the waterproofing of a building. PCI Barraseal Ready adheres to all common substrates in the fields of application: to existing waterproofing materials as well as to the usual materials of extension elements for windows and doors.
The new 1-component waterproofing product PCI Barraseal Ready is ready to use and can be applied directly from the container - craftsmen do not have to mix it beforehand or dispose of excess material afterwards. The opened container can be closed again after the work is finished and stored until the next use.
The waterproofing material dries quickly and is UV, aging and weather resistant. The application is quick and easy: After applying the first layer, the fabric PCI Barraseal Ready Vlies is inserted. The craftsman can then apply the second layer directly wet on wet – this saves time.
PCI Barraseal Ready is based on a silane modified polymer. The material has a liquid-pasty consistency, grey color and can be applied by roller or brush. It complies with the waterproofing standard DIN 18533.
