As part of its annual campaign for refurbishment, renovation and modernization, PCI Augsburg GmbH is presenting another system solution. The PCI system for the permanently reliable refurbishment of balconies and terraces scores points for its high level of reliable execution and impermeability in outdoor areas as well as its convenient application and rapid setting behavior.
The focus of the annual campaign “PCI comes up trumps - how winners renovate” is on various system solutions with harmonized products for renovation, refurbishment and modernization. Craftspeople benefit from reliable complete solutions that allow them to complete even demanding renovation tasks easily and reliably. The fifth topical focus point of the annual campaign is on the permanently reliable refurbishment of balconies and terraces.
As with all outdoor work, the diverse climatic conditions place special demands on the laying material. The products used must guarantee high resistance to freeze/thaw cycles, resistance to moisture and rapid setting and drying.
The PCI system solution for the permanently reliable refurbishment of balconies and terraces is optimized for a high level of reliable execution and impermeability in outdoor areas. It offers a convenient working time window and rapid setting behavior at both low and high outdoor temperatures. In addition, all products in the system are very low-emission (EC 1 Plus) and therefore contribute to occupational safety, healthy living and environmental compatibility.

- Floor leveling compound: PCI Pericret – Leveling mortar for producing a gradient leveling layer (at least 1.5 %)
- Waterproofing: PCI Seccoral 2K Rapid – Fast-setting waterproofing slurry, applied in two coats
- Waterproofing tapes: PCI Pecitape 120 – Waterproofing tape for watertight corner and connection joints
- Laying: PCI Flexmörtel Premium – Flexible tile adhesive for ceramic and natural stone coverings or PCI Carrament Grey + PCI Lastoflex – Medium-bed and setting mortar for natural stone and fully-vitrified tiles modified with the polymer-modified additive PCI Lastoflex
- Grouting: PCI Nanofug Premium – Multi-use flexible joint grout for all tiles and natural stone
